Wellness Weekend is a time to pause in our busy lives to reflect on how we're living our lives, to connect with others in a meaningful way, to refresh ourselves both personally and professionally. Wellness Weekend is for anyone who is interested in living life more thoughtfully and more fully!

TLC-Fest: Leadership Intensive and ACTion Troupe Tracks
Fall, 2008
This 3-day two-track training is designed to build personal and group leadership skills by promoting asset development and skill-building. The Leadership Intensive track provides students with general skills for personal and group leadership. ACTion Troupe track teaches student teams to use drama to present powerful messages regarding healthy life-style choices.

TLC Summer-Fest: Leadership Intensive and ACTion Troupe Tracks
Presbytery Point, Michigamme: June 9-13, 2009
This 5-day TLC training is similar to the TLC-Fest weekend training with an additional twist: lots of music, art, theater, and technology!

Skill Group Facilitator Training for Adults
Presbytery Point, June 9-13, 2009
This 5-day training is offered concurrently with the TLC-Fest and Summer-Fest training. They provide adults who work with teens in small process groups with a "laboratory experience." Learn techniques that will equip you to work with skill groups at TLC trainings and school-based student assistance programs.

TLC Summer Silliness Pot Luck Picnic
Al Quaal Recreation Area, Ishpeming: mid-late August, 2008 (pending funding) A time to celebrate learning and relationships with fun in the sun!

High Ropes Course: To the Limit and Beyond!
Clear Lake Camp, Shingleton: Dates to be determined (pending funding)
This is a one-day high ropes course. It's designed to challenge our self-limiting thinking and help us stretch our vision of our capabilities and self worth. Step outside your comfort zone! Take a healthy risk!

Teens Taking Steps to Create a Better World Mini-Grant Application Form
These mini-grants are made possible by funding from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). Ideas for activities may include anything that can help youth make healthy lifestyles and develop more positive, supportive relationships. The ultimate goal is to prevent substance abuse and violence of all kinds.
